These terms are the agreement between you and Onwards Digital (“Onwards”, “we”, “us”), a web design service operating as [legal name / entity and place of registration], contactable at contactonwardsdigital@gmail.com. By requesting a free mockup, paying for a plan, or subscribing to Monthly Care you agree to them. Please read them — they say plainly what we will do, what we won’t, and what we need from you.
Plain-language summaries appear in italics at the start of some sections. They are there to help; the full text is what applies.
1. What we provide
We design and build your website. We do not host it.
Onwards offers the following, as described on our pricing page at the time you order:
- Beginner (free mockup): one homepage design concept, delivered by email as images, with no payment and no obligation on either side.
- Advanced (one-time fee): a website of up to three non-payment pages, built for phones and computers, with a contact form and basic search-engine setup, delivered within 3–5 business days of the start date (section 4), and two rounds of revisions.
- Professional (one-time fee): a website of up to five non-payment pages with one booking or payment integration, a contact form and basic search-engine setup, delivered within 5–7 business days of the start date, and five rounds of revisions.
- Monthly Care (monthly subscription): access to a simple editor that lets you change the site’s text, prices, hours and photos yourself whenever you like, email support, and up to three changes a month made by us on request.
“Non-payment page” means a page that does not itself take payment. A booking or payment integration means connecting one third-party service you already use (for example a reservation system or a payment link); it does not include building a custom online store.
Onwards does not host websites, register domains, or provide email accounts. When your site is finished we hand over the complete files and clear written steps for putting it on your own domain and hosting account, and we will walk you through it by email. Hosting and domain fees are paid by you to those providers directly, and their terms govern those services.
2. The free mockup
The free mockup is a design concept, not a finished website. It stays our property until you buy a plan; you may not use it, or have it built by someone else, without buying a plan. We may decline a mockup request at our discretion — for example if the business is outside what we design for — and will tell you if so.
3. Ordering and payment
You order by completing the questionnaire for a plan and paying the one-time fee through PayPal or Stripe. Prices are in US dollars; other currencies shown on the site are for guidance and your bank or payment provider sets the exchange rate. The price shown at checkout is the full price; there are no additional fees from us.
Payment must clear before work starts. Monthly Care is billed monthly in advance through the payment provider you choose, starting on the day you subscribe, and continues until cancelled (section 8).
4. Delivery times and what we need from you
The clock starts when we have both your payment and your content.
Delivery times are counted in business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UAE public holidays) from the start date: the day on which we have received both your cleared payment and the material we need to build the site — your business details, the text or facts for each page, your logo if you have one, and any photos you want used. We will confirm the start date by email.
If we are waiting on something from you, the delivery clock pauses until we receive it. If a project waits on you for more than 30 days in total, we may treat it as cancelled under the Refunds & Cancellations policy, or complete it with the material we have and hand it over as finished.
Delivery times are targets we work hard to meet, not guarantees; if we expect to miss one we will tell you as soon as we know, and you may cancel under the refund policy if the delay is more than five business days and caused by us.
5. Revisions, bugs and acceptance
Revision rounds are for changes to the design or content. Bugs are fixed regardless, but you must tell us about them.
Each plan includes a fixed number of revision rounds. A round is one consolidated set of change requests sent to us after you have reviewed a draft. A round is used by any request for a major change: a change to the layout, structure, colour scheme, typography, imagery, page content or functionality of the site, or the addition or removal of elements. Please gather your changes and send them together; several small messages about the same draft count as one round if they arrive within 48 hours of each other.
Bugs and glitches are not revisions. A bug is something that does not work as it was built to: a broken link, a form that does not send, text overlapping on a phone, an image that does not load. We fix bugs at no charge and without using a revision round, both before handover and for 30 days after it, and we will not knowingly hand over a site with unfixed bugs. However, we can only fix what we know about: you are responsible for reviewing the site and telling us in writing about any bug, and we are not responsible for any consequence of a bug that was not reported to us.
A site is accepted when you confirm it in writing, or when you have made no comment on the final draft within 10 business days, or when you put the site live — whichever comes first. Changes requested after acceptance, or beyond the included rounds, are quoted separately or covered by Monthly Care.
6. Your content and your responsibilities
You are responsible for everything you give us to put on the site — text, photos, logos, menus, prices, claims about your business — and you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it is accurate and lawful. We may decline to publish content that we reasonably believe infringes someone’s rights or breaks the law.
Where you ask us to source stock photography for the launch, we use images under licences that permit commercial website use and will tell you their source; you are responsible for replacing them if you later use the site in a way those licences do not cover.
You are responsible for keeping your own domain, hosting and third-party accounts (booking, payments, email) active and paid, and for the accuracy of the site’s content after handover.
7. Ownership and portfolio
On full payment the website is yours. We may show it as an example of our work unless you opt out.
When the one-time fee has been paid in full and the site has been accepted, you own the website: the files, the design as applied to your site, and the content. Until then it remains our property. Design methods, code techniques and any components we reuse across projects remain ours, and we may use them for other clients.
You give us permission to show your finished website — including screenshots and a link — as an example of our work on our website and in conversations with prospective clients. You may opt out at any time by unticking the portfolio box on the questionnaire or by emailing us, and we will not show your site (and will remove it within 10 business days if it is already shown). A small “Site by Onwards Digital” credit may appear in the site’s footer; you may remove it after handover.
8. Monthly Care
It renews automatically each month. You can cancel any time by email; it runs to the end of the month you have paid for.
Monthly Care is a subscription billed monthly in advance at the price shown when you subscribe. It renews automatically at the end of each monthly period until you cancel. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.
You may cancel at any time by emailing contactonwardsdigital@gmail.com; no reason is needed and there is no cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the monthly period you have already paid for: if you cancel fifteen days into a month, you keep full access for the remaining fifteen days, no further renewal is charged, and we do not refund part-months. Editor access ends when the paid period ends; the website itself is yours and stays exactly as it is.
Monthly Care covers changes to your existing pages. It does not include new pages, redesigns or new integrations, which we quote separately. We aim to complete requested changes within two business days.
Ready-made sites
You design it, we send you the files. Running the site is up to you.
A ready-made site is the website you design yourself on our ready-made page, sold for the one-time price shown there. After your payment is confirmed we send you the finished files in the way you chose (for example a zip file or a Google Drive link). The number of pages, the designs and the wording are exactly as you set them before buying.
Onwards does not host ready-made sites, does not receive, store or send their bookings or messages, and does not operate any service for them. Booking and contact forms either use a third-party form service such as FormSubmit to email requests directly to the address you choose, or are left for you to connect to your own booking tool. You are responsible for putting the site online, for your domain and hosting, and for any third-party service you connect. Any terms of service page you add to your site is a starting template, not legal advice.
9. What we are not responsible for
We build sites carefully and to current standards, but we cannot promise that a website will produce any particular level of sales, enquiries, search rankings or traffic.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for: loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill; the acts, availability or pricing of third-party services (hosting, domains, payment providers, booking systems, email relays, font or image providers); changes you or others make to the site after handover; or any bug or fault that was not reported to us. Our total liability to you for anything arising from a project or subscription is limited to the amount you paid us for that project, or for the three months of Monthly Care before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. General
We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time you order applies to that order, and we will email Monthly Care subscribers about material changes before they take effect. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable the rest still applies. These terms, together with the Refunds & Cancellations policy and the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us for the services described.
These terms are governed by the laws of [the United Arab Emirates, Emirate of Dubai — confirm with a lawyer], and any dispute will be handled by the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be taken away, in which case those rights are not affected. If something goes wrong, please email us first — most problems are solved in a day.
